THE DETAILS
ABOUT
Lets be honest we need to change, and I assume if you are here you kind of agree. So lets go back to the future, we used to get around by horse, public transport, cars and of course bikes. The e-bike is now revisiting that era. Most of our inner city trips are on average less than 8.9 km[1] with the average trip being 23 minutes and average speed being 30 km/hr[2] and in fact most median short trip distances are 4.2 km. So with our pedal assist mid drive Pendler bikes at 25 km/hr that is 10 minutes on the bike or 23 minutes is about 10 km. In morning traffic getting to work or the shops has just become easier.

mission
FAMILI BUSINESS
Pendler is a family business established during the pandemic. We went looking for a e-bike with the right features that was affordable as a simple no fuss day to day bike, and in the end we designed our own. The business is based in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne (Coburg).

vision
RIDE FAR
We put this bike together with the following in mind; to replace the main form of transport for local trips. To have the bike intuitively simple with internal hub gears, a belt drive and an integrated display. E-bikes should not be converted bikes but their own fully developed mode of transport, and we think this is it.
